Who We Are
Vintage Cars Tours Vietnam is a classic car tour company based at 61 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoi An, operating under the Heaven and Earth Tours umbrella. We specialise in guided half-day tours aboard Citroën La Dalat, the iconic convertible cars manufactured in Vietnam between 1970 and 1975, and the first cars ever made in the country.
Our passion is simple: to share the beauty of the Vietnamese countryside around Hoi An while preserving a unique piece of local automotive heritage. Every tour is led by an experienced bilingual guide, English or French spoken, who brings the landscape and local culture to life with stories, history and authentic encounters.
In November 2019, our tours and our fleet of Citroën La Dalat were featured in a special Vietnam episode of Top Gear France, broadcast on RMC Découverte, a recognition that fills us with pride and reflects the unique character of what we offer.
Our Fleet of Citroën La Dalat
We operate a fleet of 5 restored Citroën La Dalat, Titine, Choupette, Choupinette, Jeanette and the Top Gear car, each carefully maintained and registered with up-to-date documentation. Out of the approximately 200 La Dalat still in circulation in Vietnam today, finding roadworthy examples with proper paperwork is a genuine challenge.
Each vehicle has its own personality and story. Titine, our first acquisition, was purchased in Ho Chi Minh City in May 2017 and drove 945 km to reach Hoi An under her own power. Jeannette, our most recent addition, is believed to be one of the last La Dalat assembled after 1975 using original Citroën parts.

The restoration and preservation of these vehicles is also the heart of our Vietnam Memories Project, an initiative dedicated to safeguarding Vietnamese automotive heritage for future generations.

Our half-day classic car tours depart from our office at 61 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoi An, twice daily, at 8:00am and 1:00pm, seven days a week. Each tour lasts 4 hours and accommodates a maximum of 3 passengers per car. Tours run rain or shine.
